Planning a trip to Orlando and not sure where to stay? Look no further than the Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas! Located just minutes from the parks, this resort was designed for families. From the villas to the pools and activities on site, we were blown away with with our stay (and quite frankly I did not want to leave) – lets delve in further to all the reasons you should stay here on your next Orlando getaway!
Our Villa
When traveling with kids you want to stay somewhere that not only is spacious, but that feels a little like home. Sheraton Vistana Villages definitely delivers and offers one- and two- bedroom villas (up to 1100 sq. ft – our villa was bigger than my first apartment!). Both feature fully equipped kitchens or well-equipped kitchenettes, washers and dryers, private balconies or patios, and unlimited wireless high-speed internet access.
Having a kitchen in our villa allowed us to cook breakfast in the morning, giving us a relaxing start to our fun filled days. BONUS: Housekeeping not only makes the place sparkle – they also put all your dishes in the dishwasher AND run it for you! So when you get home from your amazing day its completely reset and you do not have to lift a finger (can I move in please?!).
Our villa had two spacious bedrooms – one with two queen beds and the other with a king – and two generously sized bathrooms – both with shower and tub. And we had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the pool (we spent most mornings and evenings out there). One of the tubs is huge and has jets – we may or may not have made a massive bubble bath that made our kids squeal with excitement!
The Amenities
You will love your villa so much that you will not want to leave – BUT please do, it just gets better! You’ll enjoy endless fun with themed pools, a water slide, a family-friendly restaurant, activity programs and more. You must be 42″ tall to go on the water slide there – so do not make our mistake of promising a water slide if you have a little one! There are three pools, two with zero entry sides. The pool closest to us had an awesome interactive pirate ship with water shoots and a water cannon. The main pool had a beautiful rock waterfall and splash pad for the littles.
They also have a grocery store which has anything/everything you would need for your stay – from potato chips to water/wine and tylenol!
They have two restaurants – a pool bar and an actual restaurant. We went to the pool bar for hot dogs, but did not venture to the actual restaurant. We also saw people grilling on one of the many grills around the resort – this was tempting to make a yummy steak one night!
They have a 24 hour gym – but we did not use it (no, we do not work out on vacation, or any other time for that matter).
The grounds are stunning – you feel like you are on vacation, but also feel like you are at home. Palm trees and friendly ducks are at every turn. We really enjoyed just being at this resort – it was relaxing, comfortable, and our kids loved it.
We were so thankful to be hosted by Sheraton Vistana Villages on this stay. They do offer time shares here, so expect them to ask you about it – however if you decline they move on rather quickly.

This looks like a great family friendly resort in Orlando. My husband always wants to stay on property, but every now and again I can convince him to stay somewhere else. Will keep this place in mind.

Everytime we go to Orlando, we stay here or the sister resort the Sheraton Vistana Resort. A ton of amenities and the rooms are spacious. Lots to do on resort days away from the parks.
